Collectors using Facebook, MySpace to track down debtors

Watch out, the debt collector that's been calling you and sending you collection letters might be your next Facebook "friend"...

According to this news report, debt collectors are starting to follow consumers via popular social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace:

"Work information, where I work, when I work, what my work schedule is, my address, my cell phone number, my landline number," says Audas. It's valuable information that a debt collector can use to track you down. And some bill collectors are going as far as creating their own pages on social networking sites.
